Food was delicious. New owners but they kept the same chef. Very friendly and accommodating.

Fabulous! Classic American style pub with a lot of wood. I think this place has been there a long time. I had a delmonico steak, medium rare. I think that it was really great. It was perfect medium rare, but it was really well chared on the outside. I was disappointed that they did not have a baked potato with it it. I had sweet potato fries and they were crisp and hot. My wife had a pasta special with sausage in a cream sauce that was an odd choice but was really tasty. The service was friendly and efficient.

First time here even though we are local. New owners and had heard good things. We were actually taken care of by the owner, super friendly and helpfull. Got some clams, wings, and pork fries. Everything was really fantastic! Cant wait to go back!

Chrissy was an amazing server. The food was really good and the portion sizes are huge. Definitely a hidden gem to check out when in the area wine tasting.

We went with my brother and his wife. I had the fish fry my husband had the delmonico steak. They food was delicious and our service was good too.

Had finger lakes wine from lameriux landing, excellent cab franc.. Ordered breaded mushrooms appetizer, fish sandwich and Philly cheesesteak. Very good. Friendly staff anf atmosphere, just off the wine trail. Our first visit and definitely would go again. Wine trail visitors can call ahead and have their food ready when you arrive!

Arrived on a very busy Friday night based of great reviews. They took our name but after 30 minutes it was clear they ignored us. After watching multiple people get seated ahead of us we complained. They never even wrote our name down. Finally after 45 minutes and three waitresses we got water and menus. The meal was okay, certainly not the best fish fry I've ever had as some have espoused. Basically 80 dollars for 3 adults and a child and two hours for a fish fry.....FAIL.....

Fantastic local pub and eatery, friendly, good menu and better than expected chef. A little crowded on the weekend but worth the wait. Grab a cocktail at the bar while you wait.

Fantastic food and service. The prime rib deal on Saturdays is what prompted our visit. We were not disappointed. On top of it all there is a super friendly porch cat who hangs out. 10 out of 10.

Love, love, LOVE this place! The food is so fresh and delicious! And, they use local produce whenever possible. The owner and staff are always friendly, engaging, and accommodating. In nice weather, you can dine outside. And, there's something for everyone on their menu. Whenever I'm staying at the Showboat, I make sure to take the short drive to the Himrod Eagle!

Pulled up and got a parking space right outside the door. Once inside, the place was packed but everyone was greeted and taken care of. We were seated quickly. Promptly, the waitress, Mary, took our drink and appetizer order. Mind you, the place was extremely busy. The drinks and appetizers got to our table rather quickly and they were outstanding! We had shrimp and wings, and they were done perfectly. They could have sufficed for a dinner option! However, we ordered the haddock as our meals. They too, were done very much to our liking. The flavor of all of the food was the best we've had in the Finger Lakes! Highly recommend The Himrod Eagle! They are a "well oiled machine".

We arrived to a full house. We were lucky when a table opened up quickly. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was good though due to the crowd, took some time to arrive.
